In the Warring States Period of ancient China (475-221 BCE), Shin and Hyou are war-orphans in the kingdom of Qin. They dream of one day proving themselves on the battlefield. One day, however, Hyou is taken to the palace by a minister. Winding up on the losing side of a power-struggle, Hyou manages to return to the village, barely alive. Shin then meets a boy who closely resembles Hyou, Ei Sei. For now he is the king of Qin; later he will become the emperor Shi Huangdi.
Seasons 1 and 2 were dubbed by Azur Studios in Vancouver, Canada. The dub was non-union and thus none of the English voice actors are credited. To this day, most of the cast for these seasons are still not known.
Due to adverse weather delays in the Dallas region, where the series are dubbed, Crunchyroll has decided to delay the release of English-dubbed episodes for many anime that are airing during the winter season of 2023. The announcement was made on Friday. 781b155fdc
