How to Operate the Philips BV 300 Mobile C-Arm Fluoroscopy System
The Philips BV 300 is a multi-application mobile X-ray imaging system that offers high-resolution images, low X-ray dosage, and superior penetration power. It can be used for various procedures, such as orthopedics, vascular, urology, and general surgery. Preparation Procedures
Before using the Philips BV 300 system, you need to perform some preparation procedures, such as:
Transporting the C-arm stand and mobile view station to the desired location and applying the brakes.
Connecting the system to a suitable power outlet and switching it on.
Positioning the C-arm stand according to the anatomy of interest and adjusting the geometry controls.
Fixing sterilizable covers to the C-arm stand and mobile view station if needed.
Mounting the cassette holder to the image intensifier if film exposures are required.
Preparing the laser alignment tool and checking its accuracy if needed.
Entering and modifying patient and examination data on the mobile view station.

Image Acquisition
Once the system is ready, you can start acquiring images using one of the following modes:
Fluoroscopy mode: This mode allows you to view live X-ray images on the monitors. You can activate this mode by pressing the footswitch or handswitch. You can adjust the image quality parameters, such as kVp, mA, gain, iris, and collimation, using the C-arm stand control console or the remote control. You can also use the automatic program fluoroscopy (APF) function to optimize the image quality automatically. You can switch between different image intensifier sizes (9\", 7\", or 5\") using the remote control or the footswitch. You can also activate the high definition fluoroscopy boost mode or the pulsed fluoroscopy mode (optional) for enhanced image quality or reduced radiation dose.
Last image hold mode: This mode allows you to freeze and view the last fluoroscopic image on the monitors. You can activate this mode by releasing the footswitch or handswitch after fluoroscopy. You can store up to 10 last image hold images in memory and review them later.
Radiographic mode: This mode allows you to take film exposures using a cassette. You can activate this mode by pressing the radiography button on the footswitch or handswitch. You can adjust the exposure parameters, such as kVp, mA, and time, using the C-arm stand control console or the remote control. Image Review

the following modes:
Last image hold review mode: This mode allows you to view and compare up to 10 last image hold images stored in memory. You can activate this mode by pressing
the last image hold review button on the mobile view station control console. You
can select an image using the arrow keys and perform various functions, such as
zooming, panning, rotating, reversing, measuring, annotating, printing, recording,
or deleting.
Pulsed fluorography review mode: This mode allows you to view and compare up
